Peony Root Extract 牡丹皮萃取液 (20ml/100ml)

Peony bark extract can provide anti-melanogenic ability, effectively avoiding or delaying the phenomenon of pigmentation. In 2011, the antioxidant and anti-melanogenic effects of peony bark extract were further investigated in a study conducted at the University of Tsukuba in Japan and published in the international journal Plant Foods Hum Nutr (2011) 66:275-284.
The reason why peony bark extract is better than vitamin C or other acidic whitening substances is that its pH is close to neutral and the acidic nature of vitamin C tends to cause skin irritation.

Peony bark extract can also be used as a natural antimicrobial agent at a dosage of 2% to prolong the use of skin care products to 2-3 months.
